So, Let me start with a little introduction about the Crio Winter of Doing (CWOD) program. And Onwards I will Demonstrate how the student can get hands-on experience by doing things Plus applying their learning.

Knowledge is of no use. If You can't apply it.

Before starting about the program I want to ask you a very Stupid Question?

ME: How you learn? NO NO. How you learn better?
You: I learn by watching youtube, reading blogs, and searching on google.

ME: Do you want to be just a Software Engineer or a Great Software Engineer?
You: Obviously I Want to be a GREAT Software Engineer.

ME: But, Do you really know what GREAT Software Engineer is doing. Well, they're working on Complex Project that is above their current Limits. That the main reason that will demonstrate the difference between the just Software Engineer VS GREAT Software Engineer.

ME: If you want to become a Cricketer. Then you couldn’t become a Cricketer by just watching Cricket matches on TV. You have to go outside and practice a lot. That the same things apply while learning Coding.

The More Challenge the Project, The More learning is actually Happen and Finally More Satisfied you feel. →own Words.

So Now, no more philosophy. Let jumps into the program.

CWOD (Crio Winter of Doing) is a yearly program that is powered by the CRIO. Where Students and Working Professionals get the opportunity to work with Tech Startup example: CRED, reckon, Groww, Jumbotail, AWS, etc. It means you as a student working on a project of a large tech-giant startup. For More info check out this Crio Winter of Doing.

The Whole Program is Divide into three Stages.
1. Stage 1
2. Stage 2
3. Stage 3

So, Today I will be discussing the module you learn by actually doing in Stage1.

Crio Dashboard

The above is your dashboard where you actually learn and implement is things.

You: But what about stage1. What we actually do here and learn?
ME: Ohh! just wait a moment guys.

ME: To be a GREAT Software Engineer. You just not need to a become Good Coder. But Also you must aware of end-to-end product building. What I mean by that you know how to deploy the application in the production ?. What you when in a particular time frame the traffic goes high?. How to distribute a load of requests to different servers and many more things?.

ME: And all these things you can’t learn by watching the video.

The More problem you face. The More experienced you become.

ME: The major goal of the program is not that you will learn a lot of theory. But what I felt after finishing the program you become more experienced and much more confident about your skills because you actually implemented that.
You: I’m more Curious.

Learning byte section

ME: The above section is your byte section where you will be learning about specific topics like HTTP, REST, AWS, etc.
And Trust me the topics discussed in full-depth with also interview prospective. So you didn’t waste your time with other resources.

Here is the list of learning byte that is essential for the developer in Stage1
1. HTTP
2. REST
3. Linux Basics
4. Deploy App Server in AWS And scaling the resources
5. Git Basics
6. HTML, CSS, Javascript.

ME: After completing all the modules you will be ready to build a Full-stack App(profile). We Usually call it Micro-Experience.

You: But what if I am stuck in coding or setting up my local environment and if still, I had some doubt to resolve. What should I do in that case?
ME:
hey! just hold-on. Just take a deep breath and then starting coding again. I am just kidding. We had a very huge community to Support you 24*7. Let have a little look here.

Slack Community

You: Thank God. I think now even I am able to perform very well with the support of a huge community.

ME: But, this is not the end of stage1 one surprise is waiting for you.
You: Please tell me na!!.

ME: okay the wait is over.

QProfile App

ME: In this final module you build a Portfilo-website using MERN stack.
Here you also learn how to debug, Unit test, and deploy your applications on Netlify, Heroku, etc.
You: That sounds really amazing.

ME: And finally the some cools rewards are waiting for you.

Certificate
Skill Certificate

ME: Certificate doesn’t really matter. But is just a small reward which shows how much consistent you are and also demonstrates how much passionate you are to learn new things and apply them in your real-life that will make you good human beings as well as a GREAT ENGINEER.
